Lauren Lovelace Murray is the first woman to achieve the ranking of Executive Vice President of the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo in its more than 125-year history. Having risen through its ranks in a career that spans more than 20 years, Murray first served as the Horse Show assistant to eventually become the Horse Show Director before being tapped as the Executive Vice President. She oversees multiple aspects of the Show which welcomes more than 1.2 million visitors annually and awarded more than $10 million in premiums to Texas 4-H and FFA students in 2025.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with complimentary drinks and light bites.
Program starts at 6:00 p.m.
Parking in Museum Lot is $12 per car.
Cowgirl Museum Members receive free parking.

Lauren Lovelace Murray grew up in Grapevine, Texas and is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Animal Science and a Masters of Animal Science. She has worked at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo since 2005 and recently has changed roles from Horse Show Director to Executive Vice President.
As the Horse Show Director at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, her responsibilities included implementation of Ranching Heritage Weekend which includes Ranch Horse Shows, 3 Horse Sales, a Ranch Gathering Party, and planning and execution of the 16 breed/discipline Horse Show and managing the Equine Scholarship Program that will award over $190,000 in scholarships to Equine Youth. In 2024, the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Horse Show had over 5,500 entries in the 23 day Show.
In her new role, she will assist in all aspects of FWSSR Show Operations.
She also serves as Texas Director for the American Quarter Horse Association and on the AQHA Marketing and Membership Committee, President of the Citizens Support Group for the Fort Worth Police Mounted Patrol and is a former Board Member for the Fort Worth Farm & Ranch Club.
She lives in Fort Worth, Texas and enjoys spending time with family, friends on the lake, and at home with her yellow labs “Taos”, “Mae” & “West” and her American Quarter Horses.
