Sandy

Sandy Scott

Sandy trained at the Kansas City Art Institute and worked in motion pictures as an animation artist. She turned to etching and printmaking in the 1970s and sculpture in the 1980s. Her experience as a licensed pilot affords her knowledge of aerodynamics that helps her achieve the illusion of movement in her bird sculptures. Sandy teaches at the prestigious Scottsdale Artists’ School, Brookgreen Gardens Master Classes and Workshops and is a fellow in The American Artists Professional League. She has studios in Wyoming, Ontario and South Carolina.
