Docents
Volunteer docents are our true ambassadors.
Bound together by their interest in American West and cowgirl history, our core group of 25 docents educates visitors through a unique set of skills and backgrounds.
The Cowgirl’s docent program is designed to educate, stimulate and give motivated learners greater skills in teaching and storytelling. Each docent trains at the Museum and independently to learn about Hall of Fame Honorees and the history of the American West. Quarterly training sessions are held for six consecutive weeks.
