All-Cowgirl Showdown Aims to Raise Money for Cowgirl Hall of Fame
Women-Only Mounted Shooting Event to be held during the Reichert Celebration in August
FORT WORTH, TEXAS (July 21, 2014) – The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame – the only museum in the world dedicated to honoring women of the American West who have displayed extraordinary courage in their trailblazing efforts – is pleased to announce in conjunction with the Reichert Celebration and the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (CMSA) the inaugural All-Cowgirl Showdown set for August 23, 2014 at the Will Rogers Memorial Complex Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Proceeds from this cowgirls-only mounted shooting event will go directly to the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
Sixty of the best CMSA cowgirls are invited to participate in the event. After the first round of competition, the top 12 cowgirls will advance on to the finals, where they will be paired with a VIP celebrity shooter from the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame, local media, and other high profile influencers in the western industry. These VIP cowgirls will be donating their time to compete and raise money for the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
