The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame’s Traveling Trunk has become a standard teaching tool for many educators in the North Texas area. It contains cowboy/cowgirl artifacts, a Teacher Resource Guide and books written for a variety of reading levels. It can be used before or after a Museum visit, or as part of your curriculum to encourage students to learn about cowgirls, settlers and pioneers who helped shape the West.
The trunk can be checked out for a two-week period on a first-come, first-served basis with a completed request form and $25 refundable deposit. For additional questions or to obtain a form, contact our Director of School Services, at 817-509-8697 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
