Enid was the daughter of legendary boot maker H.J. Justin. When her father died and Justin Boot Company moved to Fort Worth, she decided to remain in her hometown and start her own boot shop. Using the skills and knowledge she learned working for her father, Enid founded Nocona Boot Company. She made a difference outside the working world as well; Enid was a well regarded humanitarian, civic leader and generous supporter of her community.
