Desert Rose Society

The collections of the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame document the history of women in the American West. More than 5,000 artifacts and 6,000 photographs illustrate and preserve the stories of a diverse group of remarkable women from artist Maria Martinez and musician Patsy Cline to rancher Fern Sawyer and athletes Ruth Roach and Tad Lucas.

The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame desires to grow its artifacts collection in both scope and importance. In order to raise awareness, funds and ownership in the artifact collection, we have formed a society to bring together like-minded individuals who care about the collection, preservation and display of artifacts related to the stories of women of the American West.
